This revenue boost was a result of winning 100 new conferences for the city and county over the last number of months, which are set to deliver almost 30,000 international delegates to Dublin which are set to take place over the period 2017 – 2020.

Among the conferences recently confirmed for Dublin are:
World Con, the World Science Fiction Convention, taking place in 2019, delivering 5,000 delegates with value of €8m
International & European Congress on Obesity Conference, taking place in 2020, delivering 2,300 delegates with value of €7m
European Federation of Periodontology’s 3rd Masterclinic, taking place in 2020, delivering 800 delegates with value of €1.3m
