Flogas acquires 'Just Energy' business

Flogas Natural Gas Limited  and Just Energy Ireland Limited have signed a commercial agreement that will see all Just Energy Ireland residential and commercial gas and rooneyelectricity contracts in Ireland transfer to Flogas by the end of December 2019, subject to approval from the Commission for Regulation of Utilities.
There will be no impact on supply to the circa 10,000 Just Energy Ireland residential and commercial customers during the transfer period. Once CRU approval is received, all Just Energy Ireland customers will receive communications from Flogas about their accounts.
John Rooney, managing director, Flogas, said

The announcement follows the decision of Just Energy to exit the Irish market following an evaluation of its operations here.
