IHI launches Business Game

The IHI National Hospitality Business Management Game will take place at the Clayton Hotel, Dublin Airport on Sunday and Monday, 1st and 2nd of March.  The Business Game, now in its 34th year, is an inter-college competition for 3rd and 4th year students studying Hospitality Management. Over the course of the two days, the students will be given a total of 3three Challenges which aim  to test their business and financial acumen and their team building skills.
 Each team is made up of a captain and four team members. Six teams will participate and IHI will host a seminar on the theme  “Frame, Build, Develop – Pursuing A Career in Hospitality & Tourism”
Guest speakers will be Brian Farrell, Financial Controller, Clayton Hotel Burlington Road, Alan Buckley, GM Jurys Inn, Parnell Street, Amanda O’Donovan, Group Director of Revenue, Trigon Hotels and Paul Haydon, Head of Tourism Careers, Failte Ireland
Q&A Panel will include Keith O’Sullivan, Operations Managemnet, Masterchefs Hospitality, Charlene McGovern, Client Experience Manager, Netaffinity, Andre Claro, Human Resources, The Marker Hotel
