A team of four students representing Shannon College of Hotel Management were selected as the outright winners of the 33rd Irish Hospitality Institute National Hospitality
Business Management Game 2018 at the Clayton Hotel, Galway.
The winning team scored top marks in the competition that attracted six teams representing, Shannon College of Hotel Management, Dublin Institute of Technology, Galway & Mayo Institute of Technology, Athlone Institute of technology & Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
Dublin Institute of Technology were runners-up and Galway & Mayo Institute of Technology were placed third.
The Game, supported by Dalata Hotel Group, saw the teams complete three Challenges which tested the Students, business acumen and management skills in the areas of Business & Revenue Management, Digital and Human Resource Management with a focus on employee retention.
