lhouse

Mary O’ Brien CEO, Irish Landmark Trust said “ By staying at an Irish Landmark Trust property guests are helping to keep these wonderful buildings alive. Our purpose is to conserve and sustain iconic buildings throughout the Country.'
Founded in 1992, Irish Landmark Trust works throughout the island of Ireland to save interesting and unusual heritage buildings that are at risk of being lost through neglect or inappropriate use. These buildings, which are of architectural, social and historic importance, are conserved and restored and are then let on a short-term, holiday basis.  At the heart of Irish Landmark’s work is the principle that the structure itself is of prime importance and any interventions must respect this. Thus, Irish Landmark applies rigorous policies to its conservation work.
