Nov 17 is 'Nouveau' Day
“It’s Beaujolais Nouveau time” and enthusiasts around the world will enjoy their first sip of this vin de primeur on 17th November 2016 to celebrate the arrival of the new vintage! Celebrating the end of the harvest, George Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau will be distributed around the world for its global launch on that day.
Harvesting the 2016 Beaujolais started on 15th September and took place over three weeks of phenomenal weather said to have been the warmest and sunniest September in the region for 50 years. As a result, this year’s harvest has been of excellent quality. Each vintage is unique and the 2016 Beaujolais Nouveau is an expression of weather, time and the craft of the wine maker.
