Giuseppe (Pino) Paruzzi, who has passed away was a well-known restaurateur and RTE camera operator.
A native of Frosinone, Italy, he came to Ireland at an early stage of his career, working for the new Telefis Eireann. He later opened the successful Kapriol Restaurant in Camden Street where his wife Egidia was the chef, making her own fresh pasta every day and cooking traditional Italian dishes.
He was a prominent member of the Irish Guild of Sommeliers.
Giuseppe, who died peacefully at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Dublin was the beloved husband of Egidia and much loved father of Walter and Fabiola. He will be greatly missed by his family, his brothers Luciano and Claudio, son-in-law Alan, grandchildren Rachel and Nathan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
