Euro agents in Ancient East

Travel agents, representing top tour operators Eurotours, Sabtours, AG Traveltrend, Cotravel and ThobaReisen from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, are in Ireland to learn more about Fáilte Ireland’s major tourism brands the Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland’s Ancient East
  The tailored visit is hosted and managed by Fáilte Ireland in collaboration with Tourism Ireland to maximse opportunities around the new air routes available through Cork Airport.  Following a welcome reception at the airport, the group enjoyed a walking tour of the City; paid a site visit of the Trident Hotel in Kinsale, visited the Charles Fort, dinner and an overview of Ferhill House Hotel and Gardens in Clonakilty ahead of visiting Blarney Castle and Blarney Woollen Mills Hotel.
The group also had an opportunity to visit Ireland’s Ancient East taking in a tour of the Dunbrody Famine Ship Museum and the Irish National Heritage Park in Wexford.  A visit to the Waterford Museum of Treasures and Athenium House Hotel before heading to the medieval city of Kilkenny for a tour of Kilkenny Castle and the Medieval Mile - finishing their visit at Huntington Castle and Mount Wolseley Hotel in County Carlow.
